WHO I AM:
Jennifer and I moved to Arden in 1995 and we have raised two Sons of Arden. For 20 years, with friends, we cooked and fed them once a year, a Chicken Mole dinner on Saturday nights at the Gild Hall. Actually, it was too spicy until they got older. Then they really liked it.
Outside of Arden, I have 13 years of being and adult leader in Boy Scouts, first as a Cubmaster and then as an Assistant Scout Master – Troop 99! As a Troop we’ve participated in food drives and Delaware River cleanups, to name two community service activities. During my time in Troop 99, I became a certified Leave No Trace trainer. As a Leave No Trace trainer, I was able to bring those ideals of protecting the natural landscape to Scouts through demonstrations of skills and techniques and their active use during camping and backpacking.
INTEREST AND/OR SKILLS:
In Arden, I have 20+ years of service on committees. I’ve been on the Archives, BWVC, Civic, Playground and the (original 5 year) Traffic Calming committees. I have also served on seven years on the Board of Assessors.
I have seen that the spirit of Arden is alive by my neighbors actively engaging confronting its problems. I am proud to have been a part of that activity. I am currently the Chair of the Civic Committee and would like serve another term.
