The Election Results are IN!

           THANK YOU to the 234 residents who returned your ballots, and thank you to the handful of people who reached out late to say they were sorry not to get their ballots in on time.

Thank you to everyone who ran for Assessor- it is a less known about position and an important one. If you didn’t get elected this year I hope you will put your name forward again next year, name recognition can be important. We will strive to have ALL candidates submit statements next year to be posted, as well, which could help lesser known individuals get more votes.   Also, ALL Assessor meetings are public, welcoming and you can go and learn about the process and procedures without having any of the responsibilities of being a member!  To find out more about meetings and the Assessor Board click here Arden Board of Assessors

To sum of the information: The overall budget passed,  the Civic Budget was disapproved

The Schroeder Trust Referendum Passed

 The newly elected Assessors are: Denis O’Regan (convener), Deborah Ricard, Sachin Puranik, Brooke Bovard, Tom Wheeler, Shana Pinter, and Simon Hamermesh- Congratulations

Thank you to the volunteers who came last night to help assist with the vote count Barbara Macklem, Deborah Ricard, Bob Erenburg, Waren Rosenkranz, Heather Baley, and Ellie Hansen. Your participation was greatly appreciated and from what I’ve been told we concluded in record timing. Many hands, working together make light work.
