WHO I AM:
Lives in Arden since 1993 at the corner of Sherwood Forest with my husband, two college-aged daughters and two Maine Coon cats.
INTEREST AND/OR SKILLS:
Serving on the BWVC board (since 2014) as program director, providing oversight for on-going community events and supporting others who endeavor to host community programs. Chair and co-founder (in 2005 with my husband, Clay) of The Holistic Expo at the Arden Fair AKA Peddlers, Potions and Practitioners. This event brings in significant revues annually that are used for the care and preservation of the historic building. Additionally, these monies have allowed the restoration of the building to be mostly self-sustainable. Initiated the creation of the building maintenance manual and the BWVC Committee guide book. It is my desire to see the finishing touches on these documents and would be honored to serve on the committee for another term to assist completion.
Served on the ACRA board for 12 years, secretary for 10 years.
Employed by Preferred Home Inspections Inc., and work as a property manager and rental agent.
Interests: I am curious by nature and possess many interests, such as art, design, film, gardening, hiking and exploring. I practice a holistic lifestyle and grow my own vegetables.
