I have been living in Arden with my husband since 1994, at the corner of the Sherwood Forest, where we raised two Arden children and operate our business, Preferred Living, Real-estate management.
I currently serve on the BWVC board as Co-chair and program director, providing direction for on-going community programming and supporting others who endeavor to host community events. I initiated the creation of the building maintenance manual and the BWVC committee guide book. It is my desire to see the completion of these documents that will benefit future committee members and staff. I would be honored to serve on the committee for another term.
In my time living here, I volunteered on the ACRA board for 12 yrs (10 as secretary). In 2005 I co-created the Peddlers, Potions, and Practitioners Holistic Expo. (Hosted during the Fair, it is the Buzz Ware’s primary fundraising event that has been successful in maintaining the building’s self-sufficiency.) In 2009 I started the community G-Arden with neighborhood friends.
