WHO I AM:
Arden has been my home since 1994, living with my husband at the corner of Sherwood Forest, where we raised two daughters and a couple of Maine Coon cats.
INTEREST AND/OR SKILLS:
Currently, I serve as Co-Chair and Program Director on the BWVC board, providing direction for on-going community programming and supporting others who endeavor to host community events. With the building set to play a new role as resilient emergency hub, I’d like to continue in this position for another term.
Over the years, as a volunteer I spent 12 yrs. on the ACRA board–10 of those as secretary. In 2005, I co-created the Peddlers, Potions and Practitioners Holistic Expo, which has become the Buzz’s primary fundraising event helping to maintain the building’s self-sufficiency. In 2009, with the help of two neighborhood friends started the community garden.
My professional background is in property management and commercial photography, skills that help with managing the building. I would be happy to continue serving the community.
