Before moving to Arden in February 2021, Bob and I lived in Ardencroft for 6 years where I was co-chair of the Recreation Committee. I just finished two terms as a member-at-large on the Arden Club Board. You might know me as “that lady” you see pulling invasive ivy, digging out celandine or cutting bamboo! I was barely in the Ardens for a year when the Gild Hall Grounds Committee saw me pulling and planting and grabbed me for their Grounds Committee, on which I still serve.
INTEREST AND/OR SKILLS: The part of me that is a very good fit for the BWVC Committee is my 25-year career when I developed programs, organized conferences, trained volunteers, and created resources for families. I love working with other creative people to bring a new idea to fruition. I’m practical and work well on committees, having served on and led numerous committees. The part of me that doesn’t fit as well is the record-keeping, secretarial activities. My energy is just not there. If you can use me on this committee, I would be delighted.
