Nominees Wanted!

Everyone elected to government positions in the Village of Arden are volunteers except the paid positions of Secretary and Treasurer. As each committee position becomes vacant, two nominees are required to be listed on the ballot, twice as many as needed. That means, every spring, our village often has a higher percentage of its population running for office than most municipalities have voting!

The ballot for committee positions and officials is finalized at the Advisory Committee meeting in March. If you live in the Village of Arden, are 18 years of age or older, and will have lived in Arden for six months as of March 22, 2021, you are eligible to serve.

Again, as each committee position becoming vacant, we need two (2) nominees for the ballot. We only need one (1) nominee for officer positions. More than the minimum are welcome!

If you are a nominee, you are encouraged to post a statement about yourself. Click here to learn more.
