WHO I AM:
I have lived in Arden for several years and have served on the Buzz Ware Village Center Committee since 2024. I would like to continue serving on the Committee and am running for re-election.
I’ve worn many hats in my professional life, which took me to the New York City area and abroad for 35+ years. I worked as an opera singer, concert and chamber music performer, taught voice in colleges, community music school, and private studio settings, and most recently, added the role of Music Director in churches, directing choirs and playing organ and piano in services. My most recent position, which I vacated in summer 2025, was at First Unitarian Church on Concord Pike in Wilmington.
I was also Director of the Farmstead Arts Center in Basking Ridge, NJ for 3 years before moving to Delaware — a historic preservation site which was repurposed as a community arts center. Offering a variety of community arts and history events, we hosted year-round art exhibits, a monthly concert series, the Lord Sterling Theater Company, and farmhouse art studio rentals and classes.
I grew up in Wilmington, and always yearned to live in Arden. I moved back to Wilmington in 2019 to help with my aging parents, and now I’m happily ensconced in one of the Little Arden cottages where I live with my corgi mix, Pippa. I’ve met many of you on our walks around the neighborhood.
