A Wilmington native, I spent 35 years working as a professional classical singer, voice teacher and arts administrator in and around the New York City area. I returned home to Delaware five years ago and am now working as the Music Director at First Unitarian Church on Concord Pike. I’ve always dreamed of living in Arden, and am thrilled to have finally moved into one of the Little Arden cottages a year ago, where I live with Pippa, my 4 year old corgi/chihuahua mix.
I think I could be a good fit for the Buzz Ware Village Center Committee because, before moving back to Delaware, I worked part time as director of a community arts center which was located on a historic preservation site of an 18th century farm in central New Jersey. I have experience running and coordinating art galleries, concert series, a community theater company, grants, contracts, leases and property rentals, as well as day to day oversite of buildings and property. Since I’m new to the Arden community, I would really like to find a way to contribute and get to know more of the fine folks who live here!
In addition to all things musical, I enjoy begin outdoors, gardening, travel and reading.
