WHO I AM: I am a visual artist with an MFA in painting and maintain a studio at the Delaware Contemporary. Professionally I worked in arts programming, education, grant-writing for non-profits; and as a visual arts teacher. I am now retired from those roles. I have lived in Arden for 27 years and have joyfully raised my two children here. I live on the forest boundary with Walter and our dog, Artie, and have a deep love of the woods.
INTERESTS AND/OR SKILLS: I have served on the Budget, Registration, Forest Committees, as board member and chair of ACRA, among other role; and I have been on the Community Planning Committee since 2019. I am currently chair of that committee. I have an interest in working for the Town through careful and inclusive planning to realize some of its long-standing goals, such as promotion of the arts, careful land stewardship, racial and economic justice, and support for our Town’s system of direct democracy.
