INTEREST AND/OR SKILLS:
I was raised as a city girl in Newark, NJ, but I love the country, especially beautiful Arden. After 7 months of renting in Ardentown, I now live right across from the green on Woodland Lane in Arden, a dream come true.
I am an educator, working as a teacher for many wonderful years in Summit NJ. After retirement, I continued teaching, supervising new teachers in their classrooms in inner cities, teaching ESL on site in hotels and factories, and guiding student teachers as an adjunct at New Jersey City University.
I ran for the Audit Committee in 2024 stating that I supported the incumbent. It’s now time for me to become more active as an elected committee member.
To get a clear understanding of the work of the Audit committee, I attended recent Audit meetings including a working session. I will be an asset to the Committee because I am detailed oriented, very organized and am skilled at working as a team member.
I would appreciate getting your vote as I move into a more active role in Arden.
