WHO I AM:
I have been a resident of Arden since 2012. I am an Industrial designer and design products for the outdoor industry. I have a BFA in fine art (sculpture concentration) and an MS in industrial design. I have a passion for making things and working with my hands. I enjoy woodworking, metal working, blacksmithing, and cooking outdoors over fire. I am an aspiring naturalist and have a fascination with plant and tree identification, wild food sources, and forest ecology.
INTEREST AND/OR SKILLS:
Tree and plant identification are areas of interest for me as well as general forest ecology. My wife, myself, and 3 young kids already spend a lot of time in the forests of Arden. I believe we are very fortunate to have such beautiful wild areas available to us. I want to be part of preserving and protecting them for my children and the generations to come. I collect hand tools and enjoy restoring them, caring for them but most of all using them. Specifically crosscut saws and axes. I could contribute my knowledge, tools, and labor to be used in maintaining trails and building bridges, and managing erosion.
