This is a SAMPLE of the final ballot. It may not be used for voting. Actual ballots are distributed at the start of the March Town Meeting, or supplied to individual voters who have requested an Absentee ballot.
All committees, with one exception, have a sufficient number of nominees to elect this year’s committee members. Committees may have more than the minimum number of nominees. Safety has only enough candidates to elect 2 members. (Ordinarily, in odd-numbered years, they elect 3.) An election to fill the third vacancy will be held at the June Town Meeting. The deadline for nominations was the March Advisory Meeting on Monday, March 6.
Who are the incumbents?
See the current committee list to find out who the incumbents running for re-election are, and also who the continuing members are. You can read a description of each committee in the brief guide to Village government: Arden: Here’s How It Works. Detailed descriptions can be found here.
