- Voting will take place in person at the Buzz Ware Village Center on:
— Tuesday, September 30th from 5-7 p.m.
— Wednesday, October 1st from 5-7 p.m.
— Thursday, October 2nd from 5-7 p.m.
— Saturday, October 4th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
— Sunday, October 5th from 3-6 p.m. - Voting residents MUST SHOW ID to receive a ballot.
- There are 21 proposed revisions, each of which to be voted upon separately with
options of “Yes”, “No”, and “Abstain”. - In order for a proposed revision to be passed, the number of valid “Yes” votes for
that revision must exceed the number of valid “No” votes by at least one vote. - Upon check-in, each voting resident will be issued a ballot that must be returned
to the check-in station before leaving the voting room.
Click here for a sample ballot. - Each voter will be offered a “markup” version of the revised charter to use for
reference and to consider the proposals in context. Voters will be able to see
wording that is to be deleted, wording that is to be added, and wording that is
to be transferred without change from the Charter to new Village ordinances.

at which voters can see side-by-side comparisons of the changes in each of the
21 proposed revisions. These displays are best used in conjunction with the
charter markup document so that the voter can focus on each proposal
individually while placing proposed changes in context within the entire markup.
