I moved to Arden in October 2023 with my husband, Michael O’Neill, and our dog Ivy from Portland, Oregon where we had spent 5 years. Before that we were in Colorado for 15 years. Originally from New York, it is nice to be back on the East Coast, and I am truly grateful to be able to call Arden home. Also, I am a Virgo and enjoy organization, coordination, communication, fun and laughing.
I have developed many skills that I believe would be a positive contribution to the BWVC Committee. I have been a licensed psychotherapist (LCSW) in private practice since 2011, navigating clients, office space, colleagues, continuing education, scheduling, marketing, billing, etc. In addition, starting in 2003 I became a stepmother to 13 and 11-year-old boys with all that entails and worked in Colorado real estate with Michael, who is a broker. We worked buying and selling property for ourselves and clients and managing over 25 rental properties. Before then I worked in advertising and sales in NYC. I have also been co-director of summer programs for adolescents in Pennsylvania and Belize. I have been an assistant to a senior vice president of a research and development company in Maryland and was the executive director of a non-profit at Bellevue Hospital in NYC.
I believe I can be value added to the committee and as I mentioned, I am a Virgo and enjoy organization, coordination, communication, connection and laughing 😊 I am looking forward to getting to know and being more involved with our community.
