WHO I AM:
A retired K-12 art educator of 41 years, I was the Visual Arts Department Chair at Sanford School for 38 years. I served on countless committees at school during my career, as well as holding the offices of Vice President and board member of DAEA (Delaware Art Educators Association), President and board member of CAAA (Camp Arrowhead Alumni Association), and, 15-20 years ago, co-chair of the BWVC (which remains especially close to my heart). I am also a member of the Arden Library and Gardeners gilds and enjoy all that Arden has to offer from community dinners to walks in our woods.
INTERESTS AND/OR SKILLS:
I have earned my moniker, BusyBetty. I thrive on being busy and love working with people. I am a wife, mother, grandmother of 7, and friend to many. With an enthusiasm for collaboration, I value and respect the ideas and opinions of others. I am also a creative thinker with a proclivity for problem-solving. In 1970 I was selected for my high school’s senior superlative, “Most Reliable,” and that was before I was even fully mature!
