Recycling
All recycling, except for yard waste, goes into the big recycling bin, even glass. Yard waste goes into the brown bags provided by Delaware Solid Waste Authority, or into your own compost piles.
Curbside pick-up is usually every Tuesday. Holidays may delay pick-up one day.

Trash
Put trash out by the curb by 6:00 a.m. every Friday. Holidays may delay pick-up for one day. Almost any item will be picked up, even large items. Yard waste (leaves, tree limbs, etc.) will not be picked up. Neither will refrigerators or air conditioners unless they are properly tagged to indicate that their coolants have been removed.
