The Community Planning Committee plans the “physical and cultural future of the community.” It works with other committees to plan projects that have a major impact on the village and to address forces impacting the Village from outside. The committee also has a few non-planning responsibilities, including overseeing the Memorial Garden (cemetery) and the Community Gardens on the Sherwood Green (motion: 3/23/15).
Public Discussion of Freedom of Information Act Guidelines for Arden Government. The Community Planning Committee created guidelines presented at the September 22, 2014 meeting of the Town Assembly.
Resolution for the National Flood Insurance Program was voted on at the January 27, 2014 town meeting.
