This post is out-of-date. It will be updated and activated again before the March 2022 Election of Committees and Officers. CAV/3.24.21
The March 22, 2021 Town Meeting will be a Zoom meeting. If you will be unable to attend, you can request an Absentee ballot for the Election of Committees and Officers. You must submit an Affidavit Request to receive an Absentee Ballot. (Link is below.)
UPDATE / CORONAVIRUS: The Election of Committees and Officers will take place at the virtual town meeting on March 22, 2021. The meeting will be conducted over Zoom, as we have done since June 2021. Ballots will be posted at that meeting and voting will take place during the meeting. Voters will have until Thursday, March 25 at 3pm to return their ballots in a sealed envelope, with name and signature on the outside. Only those attending the March 22 town Meeting will be allowed to vote in this manner.
If you cannot attend the March 22 Town Meeting over Zoom, or if you will not be able to print your own ballot and vote during the meeting, or if you prefer not to attend because of the Zoom format, you may request and Absentee Ballot using the Affidavit Request and vote that way. In other words, even if you will attend the virtual town meeting, you may vote absentee if you are unable to print your own ballot on the night of the election, if you are attending by phone, etc.
